OVERVIEW
Dr. Jerry Fromm will build upon Vamik Volkan's work on large group identity, collective trauma, and societal conflict. He'll focus on the International Dialogue Initiative's training workshops, incorporating psychoanalytic training elements like didactics, case studies, and self-reflection. These workshops have become more than just training sessions—they've become interventions in the participants' lives and the societal situations they're working with. He will share the story of these workshops, explore their connections to group relations work, and give us some ideas on understanding and using the workshop process.
