Splitting Image

This conference follows and takes in the PCCA series of online conferences in 2025 exploring Othering and the Hatred of Diversity. The series, which focused on antisemitism, migration and Islamophobia, now concludes with an in-person conference. 

The dates: 27-30 August 2026 and the focus for this in-person conference: “SPLITTING IMAGE: Seeing the Other in the Self”.

Conference participants will meet on the isle of Cyprus to see what we can discover together about splitting and the capacity to see the Other in the self. This exploration represents a unique application of psychoanalysis off the couch.
