Frances Unsell is a psychoanalyst and organizational consultant who uses a systems psychoanalytic lens in her work with senior leaders of complex organizations, Organizational Role Analysis, and social science research teams.

She has been a member of the New York Center for 20 years and has a special interest in how Group Relations can inform one’s work. Frances is an active member of the International Society for the Psychanalytic Study of Organizations (ISPSO).

She is a graduate of The Westchester Institute for Training in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy and Union Theological Seminary (Rockefeller Fellow) in psychiatry and religion. Frances’ organizational training was though the working and training groups of The Tavistock Institute’s Leicester Conferences, A.K. Rice, and The Grubb Institute where she was a Professional Associate.
