New York Center: FILM SCREENING & DISCUSSION: WHO'S IN CHARGE? (1983)

On Saturday, February 5, 2022, The Application Subcommittee cordially invites you to a virtual screening and discussion of the 1983 film Who’s in Charge?. Following the screening, there will be the opportunity for reflection on and discussion of the film. The program will last a total of three hours and is limited to 23 participants. 
 
Directed by Canadian filmmaker Allan King (1930 - 2009), Who’s in Charge? documents a 4-day working conference on being employed and unemployed in Canada which at the time had reached record levels of unemployment. The conference was directed by Gordon Lawrence with funding from the Canadian Department of Employment and Immigration.  The film was produced in association with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Film Screening: 10 am - 12:00 pm ET (Film runtime: 1hr 55 minutes)
Discussion: 12 pm - 1 pm ET
Adjourn: 1 pm ET
