Sponsor a Membership
Expand Access. Strengthen Community. Invest in Future Leaders.
Supporting the next generation of Group Relations practitioners, students, and emerging leaders is one of the most meaningful ways to contribute to the A.K. Rice Institute. Through sponsoring a membership, you help ensure that cost is never a barrier to joining our learning community.
The A.K. Rice Institute and Affiliates are registered non-profit organizations operated exclusively for educational purposes in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions are tax deductible.
Your generosity widens the circle—and creates pathways for people who might not otherwise have access to this transformational work.
Why Sponsoring a Membership Matters
A sponsored membership allows new participants to join AKRI with full access to:
-
The global network of Group Relations practitioners
-
Member-only events, dialogues, and community gatherings
-
Discounted rates for conferences, trainings, and programs
-
Professional development, mentorship, and leadership pathways
-
Opportunities to contribute to (and benefit from) AKRI’s evolving ecosystem
For many emerging leaders—students, early-career professionals, international colleagues, or individuals navigating financial barriers—membership is the doorway to discovering Group Relations, finding their professional community, and developing the confidence to lead.
Your sponsorship removes barriers and creates opportunity.
How It Works
Sponsoring a membership is simple, flexible, and impactful. Here’s how you can participate:
1. Identify a Potential Member
You may already know people who would benefit from joining AKRI:
If you have someone in mind, you can sponsor their membership directly.
2. Or Contribute a Membership to the Prospect Community
If you don’t have a specific person identified, you can still make a difference. Your sponsorship will be offered to qualified prospective members, prioritizing:
-
Students
-
Emerging practitioners
-
Historically underrepresented groups
-
International participants
-
Individuals with financial need
Our team will match your gift with an eligible recipient and notify them of the opportunity.
3. Choose How Many Memberships to Sponsor
You can sponsor:
-
1yr membership
-
A bundle of 3–5 (1yr) memberships
-
A cohort of 10 (1yr) memberships (ideal for departments, institutions, or philanthropy partners)
Every contribution directly supports equity, access, and community-building.
